Summer Tuesdays 2015 

As this is our final Monday Night of the season (barring the AGM and End of Season Meal), you may be wondering how to get your fix of Scottish Dancing over the summer break. However, never fear, everyone is welcome at Summer Tuesdays which are held every Tuesday evening from 30th June 2015 to 15th September 2015 at St Columba's Church, Pont Street in Knightsbridge.

These informal dances are aimed at all levels of experience and the emphasis is very much on enjoyment. One of the best things about Tuesdays is the quality of the live music that we have to dance to. This year, Frank Reid's Band will be the Resident band (as he has been for many years) with guest appearances from another top band from the South-East, The Craigievar Band. If this isn't enough, we also have visits from four of the top bandleaders from Scotland: Ian Muir (from Prestwick), Nicol McLaren, Jim Lindsay and Marian Anderson.

The dances are selected from many of the ones we do here at Wembley along with a number of dances which are popular in other parts of the South-East but are maybe slightly less well known here. We also introduce a number of newer dances (most of which we have tried out on Wembley Monday NIghts first!).

So, to whet the appetite, tonight we will be dancing a programme made up from dances that are regulars at Summer Tuesdays but might be slightly less well known at Wembley and all the music will be provided by the six fantastic bands we are looking forward to dancing to this summer.
